Emphasis is on finding creative solutions to visual problems. Students must successfully complete both 2-D Design and 3-D Design before continuing in any studio art course. AT FRHS: This course is a pre-requisite for the 3-Dimensional studio courses of Pottery, Jewelry and Sculpture. While we encourage students to take both 2D and 3D Design courses, only 3D is required for moving on through the 3D Studio courses.
