Fossil Ridge High School – Select Choir (SaberCat Singers)

Membership in these groups is by audition only. Through participation in these large ensembles, students will acquire advanced performance techniques. Choirs perform in the community and at state functions. Students furnish a portion of performance outfit. At FRHS: SaberCat Singers will perform repertoire of the highest quality, and will include the study of the vocal mechanism, music theory and history. Placement into SaberCat Singers is through audition with the Choir Directors. SaberCat Singers perform at various events throughout the year that will require time outside of the school day. Attendance at all rehearsals and performances is required. Placement into Tenth Bass is through audition with the Directors, and students must be a member of another choir. Tenth Bass performs various music from the contemporary Acapella and Pop genres. Tenth Bass performs at many events throughout the year that will require time outside of the school day. Attendance at all rehearsals and performances is required.
