Fossil Ridge High School – Ambassadors

Ambassadors is a servant leadership class focusing on school and community outreach and building leadership capacity for students. Activities include peer education on sexual assault and harassment prevention, teen dating violence prevention, mental health awareness and suicide prevention, and welcoming new students to our school. Ambassadors serve as mentors to peers in our school as well as to elementary aged students at local elementary schools. This is an application and interview-based class. It is a requirement of class that students leave campus to participate in activities at other schools and sites; students are responsible for their own transportation. Ambassadors will meet as a class for $\\pmb { 1 } ^ { s t }$ and $2 ^ { n d }$ quarter only. However, there will be meetings, presentations, and other work throughout the year. Being an Ambassador is a year-long commitment.
