Part of the Academy of Law program offering students a chance to explore the legal field while pursuing regular high school coursework.

Honors level course offered as part of the Academy of Law program.

Foundation course in the Teaching Academy designed for college or career-bound students. Covers child development theory and Florida Department of Children and Families curriculum including Child Abuse and Neglect, Behavior Observation and Screening, Child Growth and Development, Florida Law related to Childcare, and Understanding Developmentally Appropriate Practice. Students may test to become state certified child care workers.

Lab experience in the Little Wave preschool. Students operate the preschool and implement lessons. Hands-on work with teaching lessons to children, writing and implementing lesson plans, demonstrating professionalism.

Continuation of Early Childhood Education II. Lab experience in the Little Wave preschool.

Final level of Early Childhood Education program. Lab experience in the Little Wave preschool. Students earn minimum of 250 child contact hours and are eligible to obtain their National Child Development Associate (CDA) certification.

Develops basic entry-level skills required for careers in the digital publishing industry. Uses Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to enhance design skills. Covers process, planning, designing, conceptualizing, editing, critiquing and presenting of real-world projects using traditional and digital media.

Builds on the foundations of design covered in Level I to create more professional work and produce student design portfolios. Opportunity to get industry certification in Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator.

Final level of Digital Design program. Advanced design work and professional portfolio development.

Provides students with an advanced understanding of the knowledge, human relations and technological skills found in technical professions. Students may earn Solidworks certifications.

Provides overview of current business and information systems and trends. Introduces fundamental skills required for business and academic environments. Covers databases, internet, spreadsheets, presentation applications, email, word processing, HTML, web page design, and software integration meeting industry standards. Includes industry certifications. Upon completion, students meet Occupational Completion Point A, Information Technology Assistant.
