Fine Arts Elective Fee Required Symphonic Band is an intermediate-level ensemble and it is designed to provide a high school band experience for students who have a thorough understanding of the basic fundamentals of music. Symphonic Band will perform quality literature from all stylistic periods. This is a performance-oriented learning experience with all rehearsals and performances mandatory. This course is offered only spring semester and may be repeated. * * *
Prerequisites: Symphonic Band requires an audition where students play a prepared piece and some sight reading.
