Erie High School – Adventure Bound (Climbing Wall)

A small amount of homework and studying if student attends class regularly and participates in all activities. This course features a range of activities including initiatives and games emphasizing cooperation, problem solving, team building and trust. There will be an introduction to bouldering/traverse, followed by a “climber primer” for indoor vertical climbing wall. A parent permission form and a student safety contract are required for participation. Several written and skills tests must be passed with at least a 70% before climbing is possible.
Prerequisites: Passed one semester of Core PE or Ironworks1 for athletes
