This semester-long course is designed to equip students with the necessary skills for formal presentations in academic and real-life contexts. Over the semester, you will have the chance to enhance your abilities and strategies for preparing and delivering impactful oral presentations. After finishing this course, you will have the skills to: Craft and deliver effective speeches: You will be able to create and present speeches that inform, persuade, or cater to special occasions. Utilize presentation aids: You will know how to enhance your speech using visual aids and other tools. Structure logical and comprehensive speeches: You will be adept at outlining your speeches in a clear and organized manner. Conduct meaningful research: You will be able to use reliable sources to research and learn about diverse topics. Audience analysis and tailoring: You will be able to analyze your audience and adapt your speeches accordingly. Evaluate verbal and non-verbal communication: You will develop the skills to assess speeches based on verbal and non-verbal criteria. Effective listening skills: You will be able to listen attentively, regardless of your personal interest in the subject matter. Understanding the communication process: You will grasp the fundamentals of communication and be able to explain them.
