Photography 1 is an introductory study of the field of art photography. Students will learn about the history of photography through the use of simple light-sensitive materials, pinhole cameras, and manual film cameras. Topics covered in this course include the technical functions of photography, visual literacy, storytelling, and a survey of photographic history. There is a $75 supply fee for required course materials.
Prerequisites: Art 1, Media Arts, or Media Technology 1
