Automotive Technology 1 is designed for students who are exploring an interest in a career within the automotive repair industry. The course will cover the theory, diagnostic techniques, and repair procedures common to the automotive industry. The specific content of the course will include the history of the automobile and the industry that produced it, safety working processes, an introduction to the repair career, and wheel/tire diagnostic/repair techniques. Students who are successful in this course will have the opportunity to apply for the remaining courses within the Automotive Technology program.
