These courses offer, over a four-year period, instruction in fundamentals through advanced modern dance technique emphasizing the progression, awareness, and development of the body in motion, space, time, and energy. Students must audition and be accepted into the YPAS Dance Majors program. Assessment is based on work habits, attitude, effort, adherence to departmental rules and regulations, and technical and artistic progress. Professionalism is stressed.
