duPont Manual High – 3-D Art

This is a course that examines different types of three-dimensional art. Students work in clay, sculpture, and other three dimensional techniques and processes, exploring a variety of media, while mastering the use of technical art materials. During the class, students will respond to their own artworks, and that of others. An examination of historical artwork will correspond to assignments.
Prerequisites: Visual Art 1 or Instructor approval
Grades: 10, 11, 12
