Crosstown High School – STEM I

This class focuses on solving complex problems through the use of the design thinking process, encouraging students to think critically and work through problems to develop innovative solutions and prototypes. Students will learn about a wide array of topics in STEM fields such as 3D modelling & printing, robotics, & programming arduino microcontrollers & remote sensing. By working through and developing STEM projects, students will learn the fundamentals of these technologies, how to integrate them to solve real-world problems, and the importance of iterative design for continuous improvement. This class will serve as a prerequesite for STEM II. This is a CTE Course.
