Crosstown High School – STEM I I

This course emphasizes the use of the design thinking process to research a need, then develop a STEM-based solution to solve the problem. Students will be required to have a strong understanding of STEM concepts and technologies and will be expected to apply them to design and build their own solutions and prototypes. The course will require students to use a variety of programming languages and hardware platforms to create their projects, building upon what was leanred in the STEM I course. This course will also include a significant amount of independent research and project development, as well as group collaborations. By the end of the year, students will have the ability to develop advanced solutions that can solve real-world problems and have a solid understanding of the design thin
