Crosstown High School – Contemporary Issues
Mar 2026 · 2nd Semester
In this year-long course, students will examine an enduring issue in Memphis through a year-long action project. They will explore the impact of the problem through interviews and research, build connections with local and national advocacy and prevention groups, examine the role of multiple levels of government, and design their own action response. Students with ideas about how to impact change in our city, or who want to learn more about political or social movements, should take this class.
