Beginning actors will be exposed to severaldifferent performance styles and methodswhich will improve their performance skills.This course uses theatre to encouragecooperative learning, teamwork,organization, and leadership skills. Theatre'sforte is in the emotional arena, whereparticipants are able to not only expressemotion in a safe environment, but morepertinently, able to learn how to calibratetheir emotional responses to various stimuli.The class allows al students the opportunityto perform on a regular basis. After-schoolrehearsal time may be required.
