This course is designed to enable students to engage in constructive and personally satisfying leisure activities in school, home and the community. Goal areas include, but are not limited to, use functional vocabulary, develop functional social skills, play computer games, utilize community services use of audio and visual equipment, accept praise or criticism during games, use phone for conversation, social skill: interaction with peers, show knowledge of sports and game rules and choose free-time activities. This course is designed for students enrolled in the SH-SDC/Life Skills (Severely Handicapped-Special Day Class/Life Skills) program who have a current I.E.P. Notes: Grade Range $1 8 +$ /Transition. Pass/No Pass

Prerequisites: Enrolled in the SH-SDC/Life Skills Program with a current I.E.P.
