Pharmacy Technician I, II is a one year, three-credit program designed to provide students with the basic skills and knowledge to begin work as a pharmacy technician. Course topics include receiving and processing of medication orders, data collection and record keeping, maintaining medication and inventory, and other basic pharmacy technician skills. Upon successful completion of the course, students are eligible to take the national examination administered by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board. Students enroll in both fall and spring courses. (Certified Pharmacy Technician, ExCPT Examination, NHA)
