Examine and critically analyze major forms of artistic expression from the past and present from a variety of cultures. Requires studying outside of class, essay writing, and note taking.

A general introduction to the visual arts designed to create an appreciation of the vocabulary, media, techniques, and purposes of the creative process.

A one-semester course based on Dr. Paul Baker's exercises for creative growth. Students analyze their own creative process through exercises for personal investigation.

Prepares the student for College Showcase and auditions. Students exhibit/perform audition solos, research colleges, write resumes and essays.

Students acquire knowledge and skills providing the foundation for social development through dance and a physically active lifestyle.

Introduces Hip-Hop dance as a culturally significant form. Students learn history, social/political forces, and fundamental techniques.

Producing and editing video and sound for multimedia or web productions. Requires 18 hours of fieldwork per semester.

Examines visual and conceptual principles connecting digital media to other art making processes. Designed for experienced filmmakers.
