The purpose of this course is to refine acting skills. The content includes script analysis and in-depth study of character and scene work. Individual performances are based on student research. MUSICAL THEATER I (THEATHRICAL DANCE) Corequisite: Musical Theater II The purpose of this course is to provide students the opportunities to study and perform scenes from varied styles of musical theater with special attention to the fundamentals of stage movement, acting, and characterization as related to musical production. The content includes the study of the history of musical theatre, music theory, acting, dance, and production and performance of a musical.
