Bear Creek High School – Latinos in Action (Peer Mentoring)

Students will work as peer-counselors one period per day. Latinos in Action is a year-long elective course that aims to empower Latino youth to lead and strengthen their communities through college and career readiness. At Bear Creek High School, this also includes the planning and execution of social and community events designed by students, as well as a mentorship program that works in conjunction with our feeder schools to provide literacy support and help foster positive relationships between students.
