Career Explore provides all students with a postsecondary career and education plan. Students will complete high school graduation requirements, receive on the job work training in an industry, and gain the skills needed to be successful in an ever-changing global community.

As developmentally appropriate, ACE Career Planning is designed for students to create an individual, initial career plan that outlines steps to reach their career goal. Students will identify a career goal based upon results of various assessments, i.e. interest survey, aptitude evaluation, academic skills, learning styles, work preferences, etc.

ACE Financial Literacy focuses on personal financial literacy. As developmentally appropriate, this course is designed for students to learn and practice financial literacy, decision-making, and management skills for their personal and professional lives.

As developmentally appropriate, ACE Job Seeking is designed to teach skills needed for entry into the workforce. Students will demonstrate successful job search strategies. Students will demonstrate employability skills to accurately complete job applications, write a resume and ask for letters of recommendation.

As developmentally appropriate, ACE Job Keeping is designed for students to learn about various employability skills necessary to meet and exceed employer expectations on the job by developing workplace skills such as interpersonal communication, teamwork, leadership, critical thinking and ethical decision making in the workplace.

As developmentally appropriate, ACE In-school Work Place Experience is designed for students to develop basic employment skills by participating in an in-school work/school based enterprise experience.

As developmentally appropriate, ACE Community Work Place Experience is designed for students to enhance employment skills by participating in a community-based work experience (paid or unpaid).

Introduction to Outdoor Recreation @ Bear Creek HS is a comprehensive semester-long course designed for students interested in discovering the great outdoors or exploring potential careers in wilderness recreation. Topics include Wilderness First Aid, rock climbing techniques and knot tying, Leave No Trace principles, campsite setup skills, survival shelter construction, water safety protocols, backcountry cooking methods, archery basics, and compass navigation techniques.

Senior Field Studies is an immersive, semester-long experiential education program for second-semester seniors. Students earn credits in English, Science, Social Studies, Career Development, Outdoor Recreation, and First Aid while learning in three environments—Urban, Rural, and Wilderness.

English 12B for Senior Field Studies fulfills the senior English requirement through reading, writing, speaking, and listening rooted in the program's field experiences. Students study contemporary nonfiction, short fiction, and place-based writing that deepen their understanding of the people and environments they encounter.

In Integrated Science II for Senior Field Studies, students earn .5 science credit through direct investigation of ecosystems, natural resources, and human–environment interactions. Students apply concepts from ecology, geology, hydrology, biology, and energy systems through fieldwork and laboratory visits across Colorado and the Southwest.

ACE Career Development II for Senior Field Studies introduces students to an exceptional range of workplaces and community settings while guiding them in planning for life after high school. Over the semester, students visit dozens of sites across sectors such as public service, science, healthcare, trades, agriculture, technology, business, government, and the outdoor industry.
