Avant Garde Academy of Broward – Yearbook (1-4)

This course includes all aspects of producing our yearbook. It will provide students with instruction in journalistic writing and production techniques. Students will become apprentices to the school yearbook and will work on story writing, design, photography, and sales. Throughout this course, students learn best practices for conducting research and interviews, analyzing the reliability of sources, and self-editing. Students continuing in this course are expected to take on positions of leadership within the program. Students should be dedicated and hard-working individuals willing to devote after-school hours for completion of deadlines.
