Students will gain an understanding of the business principles necessary to start and operate a business. Students will develop an awareness of the opportunities for small business ownership and develop a business plan needed to set specific goals for the successful opening of a small business. Add itionally, students will learn about research, planning, operations, & regulations affecting small business success. Students who complete all Mid -State requirements, and earn a grade of “C” can be awarded high school credit and credit on a Mid -State transcript as Introduction to Business (10 - 104-101) 3 credits. 28
