Arizona College Prep High School – Cultures and Community 2

Students will investigate American history, starting with the American Revolution and the founding of the United States. Emphasis is on the 20th-century era and exposes students to many political and social movements that shaped American culture. Students will practice problem-solving, critical thinking, writing, research, geographic skills, and cooperative learning activities to develop social skills and confl ict resolution. The modifi ed curriculum aligns with grade-level standards and provides activities at student instructional levels.
