The program uses a project-based environment focused on Computer Science and Video Game Design. Students are given the opportunity to design, develop, and program their own video games.

The curriculum utilizes a sports focus where students learn the foundations of anatomy and physiology, nutrition, athletic training and medical assisting. The program emphasizes hands-on experience and rigorous critical thinking skills to provide entry-level job skills needed to successfully pursue continued education and/or careers in many of the various medical occupations.

Air Force Junior ROTC unit FL-938 is the only Air Force military magnet program in the US. The program focuses on core tenets of citizenship, leadership, character and community service. It is transforming into a military science and aviation career academy to prepare students for military and civilian aerospace careers.

The program blends high school and college courses to enable students to earn a high school diploma and an Associate in Science degree. In Grades 11 and 12, Early College students are enrolled full time at Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ).
