Supply Fee $20, Fee Waivers Available Drawing 1 is a beginning art course focusing on communicating ideas visually. Through skill-enhancing projects and written assignments, students will develop a variety of drawing techniques and an understanding of the use of line, character building, shading and perspective. Students will explore drawing media including graphite, ink, colored pencils and oil pastels. We will get familiar with the elements of art and principles of design so that we can create attention-grabbing characters, exciting compositions, and artwork that expresses and communicates your inner world authentically.
