Aloha High School – Architectural Design I

Architectural Design I gives students an opportunity to learn a variety of Computer Aided Design (CAD) software applications, and also allow for fabrication of the student’s design in the Makerspace. In this class students learn the introductory skills needed to create basic projects using the CAD software available to them in the CAD Lab. After students have finished their basic projects, they will focus on a software application of their choice to learn the program more extensively. This class lets students develop projects from design to fabrication and prepares them for the next level of Architectural Design II Certification class. Available CAD Software Applications: - Architecture, Interior Design or Structural Engineering: SketchUp, AutoCAD & Revit - Mechanical Engineering: TinkerCAD, Fusion 360 & Inventor - Animation: Maya & 3ds Max This class is a prerequisite for Architectural Design II
