Aloha High School – First Aid

Dual Credit Available through PCC The purpose of First Aid is to develop knowledge and skills to provide emergency care to persons injured in an accident or stricken by sudden illness. Students will learn procedures and techniques of basic life support for adult, child and infant victims of airway obstruction, respiratory arrest and/or cardiac arrest as well as proper methods and procedures for applying CPR and AED in a given emergency situation. Upon successful completion of this course, students will earn an American Red Cross Standard First Aid and CPR/AED Adult/Child and Infant CPR Certificate.This course is for elective credit only.
Prerequisites: Successful completion Health 1
