Aloha High School – Aerobics

Aerobics builds on PE 1 concepts and is ideal for students seeking fitness through traditional and nontraditional movement outside of sports. Sample units include yoga, step aerobics, low-impact weight lifting, dance, power walking, kick boxing, tai chi, and water aerobics. Students will create and follow a personal fitness plan, with the opportunity to work independently or with peers. This class can be repeated for elective credit.
Prerequisites: Successful completion of PE 1
Grades: 10, 11 and 12
