As a teacher of History, English and related humanities I have ten years of classroom experience both in the US and in China. I know how to prepare lessons that meet clients needs and get concrete results.

I earned my PhD in Cellular/Molecular Biology from University of Toledo in 2013, I have been actively performing scientific research for over 10 years, with broad knowledge in biological sciences. And I have worked with many students of different levels. I am eager to help you to learn more about Biological Sciences in an easy way. And I am also eager to help you to learn more about Chinese. To share my knowledge and help you to make progresses is a rewarding experience for me.

I am a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth. I received my Bachelor's Degree of Fine Arts with a focus on Visual Design and Digital Media. Since high school, I've always been passionate about helping those around me to better understand the material being taught in class. Whether that was better using a tool such as photoshop or Unity in college, or teaching younger students at summer camps about color and drawing techniques. Since graduation, I have delved into the art and science of making video games, which I find to be as sophisticated and potent of an art form for storytelling as any novel, movie, or play. The best way to learn something is by doing it, but after that comes understanding why we do the things we do. With comprehension of our decision making, it allows us to confidently explore our options and experiment to great and sometimes even surprising success.

I am a graduate of Northeastern University, with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry degree. Since graduation, I have worked in the Pharmaceutical industry. I have had the wonderful opportunity to travel both domestically and internationally, which has given me the ability to interact with people from many different walks of life. During High School and College, I tutored my peers in a range of subjects including SAT prep, English, Math, Biology, and Chemistry. I am most passionate about Life Sciences. However, I'm a stickler for proper grammar which is very suitable when it comes to helping students with their SAT prep or English studies. I am a firm proponent of education, knowing that it is vital for an improved quality of life. I try to impart this philosophy to all of my students while still maintaining a fun, positive environment for them to master the subject areas they are developing. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, cooking and practicing yoga.

Currently I am a student at Stony Brook university who is planning on going into Computer Science.I am very excited as a new tutor to be able to teach computer science and hope to be able to tutor many people to my best abilities.
