I am a graduate of Liberty University. I received my Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. Since graduation, I started the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Old Dominion University and I am currently a second year student. I have experience tutoring elementary and high school students and have loved the chance to help them succeed. I have the most experience tutoring Math, but I am also passionate about Anatomy and Physiology as well as Health Sciences. In my spare time I enjoy hiking, thrifting, bike riding, dancing, gardening, and roller skating!

I've always been eager to help others learn, whether that was helping my classmates in high school work through assignments they were struggling with or my younger brother succeed during virtual school. I obtained my PhD in Chemistry, and my BS in Chemical Sciences.To improve the interest of students in chemistry, my course materials are simultaneously challenging and engaging, relevant and applying real life examples. I am of the opinion that students learn better and retain more information if material is presented in an engaging manner. Technologies including videos, slides, internet, etc., are essential tools I use in classroom to foster learning. In addition, I adopt the following to enhance my students performance: grouping students for active group discussions, allowing them to present assigned portions of the course materials in the classroom, writing on assigned topics from the textbook to improve their learning and writing skills, taking quizzes, and solving problem sets in and out of the classroom.In my interactions with students, I endeavor to be respectful, especially when dealing with differing opinions arising from scientific reasoning. I encourage my students to think critically, not simply to accept my ideas and opinions. My drive to pursue higher education was due in part to various teachers who inspired me. I would like to be a promoter for others to follow their dreams.My continued desire is to be more dedicated, motivated, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and approachable with an ardent attitude towards helping students. I have experience with babysitting, being a nanny for 2 different families, working in child care with school age children, and tutoring. I have a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education.I have been tutoring for the past 8 years. I have tutored children whose ages range from 5 to 12 years. I have experience tutoring children in public schools and after school. While I was tutoring in the public schools, there was a child that was in 4th grade, and he didn't know how to read. When I started out with him, he was at a Kindergarten reading level. By the time the school year was over, I had him reading at a 3rd grade reading level. He was so proud of himself.That is why I love to tutor. I love to see the students succeed and help them gain the confidence they need to succeed. My goal is to help the child understand the material that they are learning any way possible. I will tutor them one way, and if they don't understand the material, I will try another way. Then, I got my grades as a Master in Education in 2015. Nowadays I am enrolled as a Ph.D. student at the University Nacional de La Plata in Argentina. Since 2006 I have been teaching as a full-time job and my side income always was tutoring, which means that I have been in the education field about 15 years now. I worked as a classroom teacher with ages from Tk (4 years old kids) up to college (adults).I am passionate about Education, I love reading, and enjoy reading aloud.I had a tutoring business in my country for some years, I was the learning director and owner, and also I worked as a learning director for public schools in my home country and my last position was as a principal.I believe in education, I have been all my life involved in this field, and I love research and making speeches about my field. I have taken extra College courses in Math to become highly qualified to teach Math. I have taken two Master's level Physics courses to work towards my Physics Teacher certification. Last summer I took the Virginia Council on Economics Education course to familiarize myself with the content on the WISE exam. I enjoy teaching Math, Science and History.
