Since a young age, I have always been passionate about sharing what I have learned with others. I have experience in teaching and tutoring in social work field education to Master's level students. The subjects range from social work ethics, LMSW test prep, case management, social justice policy and psychology 101. All subjects are my favorite to teach. In 2020, I graduated from the University of Louisville with my Master's of Science in Social Work with a Specialization in Military Social Work. In college, I showed an interest in these particular subjects, since I knew that I would be applying what I have learned in my future career as a social worker. While in college, I have learned that everyone has their own way of learning and processing knowledge. I work with all four different types of learning styles: visual, auditory, kinetic, and reading/writing. I make learning fun and interesting by giving examples of how to apply what is learned to real life. Cramming or rushing to learn a subject is not always wise. You will feel motivated to learn when you have someone who will work with you at your own pace, I am great at doing that! Outside of academia, I love to read, travel when I can, and most importantly spending time with my loved ones and pets.

I am currently the Records and Information Management Program Manager for the Army Corps of Engineers in the Enterprise Information Technology Services sector. I am also a Freelance Software Engineer operating under my business name of Knight Development. I consult, design, develop, and deploy websites and web applications for entrepreneurs and small to mid-size businesses. I have two associate degrees in Administrative Support Technology and Medical Administration. I have a bachelor's degree from Colorado State University in Management Information Systems and Business Analytics with a specialization in Information Technology Management, and finally I am a master's degree candidate in the field of Software Development. My professional background is in Information Technology, program management, information technology consulting, training and development, software engineering, computer programming, and web application development.My professional experience has provided me with the tools to work on various projects and programs that have made positive impacts. My current role has also allowed me to create and conduct training and development programs and initiatives for various departments within the Information Technology and Information Management space. I graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelors in Physics. I'm currently a graduate student pursuing a PhD in theoretical physics. I immensely enjoy what I do, and that passion is what fuels my tutoring style. I specialize in tutoring for Differential Equations and Multivariable Calculus, these courses are often difficult to conceptualize and I enjoy communicating the ideas to students.

I am a recent graduate of Radford University. I majored in Interdisciplinary Studies with a license to teach Pre-K to 6th grade. I have experience tutoring and teaching many different ages. I concentrated in math and Spanish during my time at Radford. I love to work with all ages and help those that need help learning a concept or many.

I have a BA and Masters of Science in Mathematics. I have been teaching all levels of Math for the past 14 years and I love to make it fun! It is also great to see students understand and succeed as they don't always realize how simple something can be when it is broken down into easier steps!I have taught middle school, high school and college level Mathematics. I am also a licensed Mathematics and Special Education teacher and have worked with college students as an instructor and adviser.I love to teach and show neat tricks to help students understand complex concepts!

I started college majoring in fashion marketing, but just two weeks in I switched my career path to pursue teaching English at the middle-high school level. I have a wide range of classroom experience with all ages (anywhere from three years old all the way to forty!), though I most enjoy making personal connections with students aged ten to eighteen. I am very excited to be a part of the Varsity Tutors team, and I hope to help as many people as I can!
