About Me

As a passionate educator with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northwestern State University of Louisiana, I bring over 2 years of tutoring experience in subjects such as Anatomy & Physiology, Medical Terminology, and Pharmacology. I have experience working with kindergarten - 8th Grade children in an after-school setting that included homework help. My approach centers on creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and engaging deeply with the material. I strive to connect concepts to real-life applications, particularly in the nursing field, to enhance comprehension and retention. I am motivated by the opportunity to help students achieve their academic goals and succeed in their careers. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy reading about advancements in healthcare and exploring new educational methodologies to keep my teaching fresh and effective.
