As a recent Ph.D. graduate in Civil Engineering from the University of Central Florida, I am passionate about fostering a supportive learning environment for my students. With over three years of tutoring experience in subjects such as Algebra 1, Geometry, College Algebra, AP Statistics, and Pre-Calculus, I have developed a student-centered approach that prioritizes understanding and connection. I believe that effective teaching involves tailoring lesson plans to each student's unique needs, helping them build confidence and mastery by linking new concepts to their existing knowledge. My experience as a graduate teaching assistant has further honed my ability to engage with college students, but my preference lies in working with high school learners, where I enjoy witnessing their growth and academic success. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two cats.
