About Me

Hi there! My name is Adrian Gorzitze-Maxey, and I am passionate about fostering academic success in students through engaging and personalized tutoring. I have over 5 years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant including primary care, hospital medicine, and urgent care experience. I hold both a Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies and a Bachelor's in Biology from Ohio Dominican University. My degrees in addition to my educational, clinical, and scientific experience make me well suited for tutoring high school and college biology, chemistry, and preparation for the PANCE exam among other Physician Assistant exams and other medical board exams. I have also passed the Irish Physician Associate National Examination (IPANE) in July, 2025 which is based on the PANCE and United Kingdom Physician Associate National Examination. My teaching philosophy emphasizes active listening and interactive discussions, allowing students to discover their strengths and areas for growth. As the Education Chair for the Ohio Association of Physician Assistants, I develop educational programs and resources, further enhancing my ability to mentor students effectively. I also precept students in clinical settings, where I enjoy guiding them through practical applications of their knowledge. In my free time, I delve into scientific literature and engage in discussions about advancements in healthcare, which fuels my enthusiasm for education and mentoring.
