About Me

As a dedicated tutor currently in school to get my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Sacred Heart University, I am passionate about teaching anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics. I have a bachelors degree from the University of Vermont in Exercise Science with minors in Dance and Integrative healthcare. I am a Certified Exercise Physiologist from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM-EP) making me your go to person for help with any topics related to exercise science! With experience tutoring undergraduate students, particularly nursing majors, I thrive on helping students grasp complex concepts through diverse teaching methods, including visual aids and tailored study plans. My approach emphasizes open communication to align goals and expectations, ensuring students feel supported in their learning journey. I find great joy in making intricate subjects accessible and engaging, which deepens my understanding and fosters a collaborative learning environment. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy exercising, particularly lifting, dancing, eating good ice cream, and spending time with my family. I am excited to work with you!
