About Me

As a passionate educator with a PhD in bioengineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, I have over 4 years of experience in teaching students in areas of math, anatomy and physiology, and other science topics. My teaching philosophy centers on clear and effective communication of course content based on the individual learner to enhance understanding. It is very fulfilling when students form deep understanding of new material. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy embroidery and sewing, reading, and dancing Lindy Hop and Balboa.
