My teaching philosophy centers on creating engaging and tailored lessons that meet the unique needs of each student, particularly those with dyslexia and other learning challenges. Through my work with Lindamood-Bell, Dyslexia Connect, and Amplify, I have witnessed firsthand how the right support can lead to remarkable progress, with many students improving by two to three grade levels in a single year. I take great pride in building strong rapport with my students, fostering a supportive and motivating environment where they can thrive. With more than ten years of experience teaching in both traditional classrooms and alternative learning environments,
I believe that every student is capable of reading at or above grade level with the right support. Creative, fun, and engaging lessons encourage engagement and pave the way to success. Over the years, I have seen how my students blossomed and gained confidence with proper guidance. I encourage my students with the motto "I can do this! Yes, I can!" because they definitely can.
