I graduated from the University of North Texas in 2012 with a BA in Visual Communication, specializing in graphic design and illustration. This is the only degree I have earned, and I am not currently enrolled in any program. However, I do plan to attend graduate school eventually.

Side note: I learned English on my own and am always researching because I love learning about the world.

I have primarily tutored middle school students in reading, writing, and math. Additionally, I have taught freshman students at the University of North Texas and have offered independent art classes to a wide range of ages, from toddlers to senior citizens.

I am currently teaching basic Reading, Writing, Math, as well as Adobe Illustratora software I have been using since 2012. As Illustrator continuously evolves, I make it a priority to stay updated. If there's a new feature I'm unfamiliar with, I research it until I master the task.

My teaching philosophy is rooted in a holistic approach to learning. I begin each session with a brief breathing exercise to help students clear their minds and focus. I also encourage them to drink water beforehand and turn off any unnecessary technology to minimize distractions. These small habits create a strong foundation for an effective learning experience.

I use metaphors to explain concepts and incorporate visuals for quicker comprehension. Additionally, I strive to relate lessons to each student's experiences, making new concepts easier to understand and retain.

I also emphasize the importance of practice, encouraging students to repeat and apply what they learn to truly master the subject.

I love art in general, and I'm especially passionate about illustrating children's books, I like sharing my process through my Instagram. I also enjoy watching movies, taking naps, and spending time with my friends.
