I have my bachelor's degree in Childhood Education and master's in Childhood Literacy. I hold certifications in Early Childhood, Childhood Education, and Childhood Literacy. I have been teaching for over 15 years ranging from preschool to 5th grade. I currently teach first grade and have been in this position for 8 years. I am passionate about teaching reading and writing to students. I tell my students if they can read and write they can set their minds to do anything. I enjoy watching students grow in reading and igniting the love of reading in young minds. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, camping, and riding my bike.
