About Me

I am a graduate of Rosario University in Bogota (Colombia), where I received my B.A. in Finances and International Trade before attending Law School. While I attended University, I was academic monitor in Social Responsibility and I did an internship on Human Rights in Russia, where I taught English to students at Elementary and High School in my spare time. After graduation, I was Assistant Professor of Foreign Trade and Banking at my University and I have also volunteered to teach English to high school students. I feel comfortable teaching a broad range of subjects, but I really enjoy and appreciate the opportunity to help people feel more comfortable and proficient in conversational Spanish. Based on my own experience learning other languages, the most you engage in different conversations, the better! You can not only practice, but get to know about other people's interest, beliefs and culture, among others. I enjoy meeting friends and family, hiking on the weekends and going to the gym. I also consider myself a proud ambassador of my country abroad, so I will be delighted to share facts about our culture, economy, and history.
