About Me

I graduated cum laude from the University of Florida in May 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Food Science. I have always had a passion for teaching others. My favorite subject to tutor is math, particularly algebra and calculus, but I also enjoy tutoring science-based subjects such as biology and chemistry. During elementary school, I struggled academically, so my parents enrolled me in a tutoring service, much like this one. It helped me immensely and laid a strong foundation for my understanding of mathematics. This experience is one of the reasons I want to be a tutor: I believe anyone can succeed academically with the right support and hard work! I strive to understand the unique learning styles of my students so that my tutoring can be as effective as possible. Everyone learns differently, and while I am personally a visual learner, I recognize that this may not be the case for everyone. As such, I adapt my tutoring approach to best suit each individual. Outside of academics, I am a self-taught artist who loves painting with acrylics on canvas and using watercolors. I also enjoy going for walks, weightlifting, and baking.
