I am a third year student at the University of Virginia, studying Computer Science and Mathematics. I believe logical thinking is an often-overlooked form of art, and I love teaching because it gives me the opportunity to help others appreciate the beauty that I see in these subjects.

I believe that learning in these fields requires two separate skills: understanding specific concepts, and understanding how to approach a problem. While both are important, I think the latter is often forgotten in teaching, which limits students from reaching their full potential as independent thinkers. My goal as an educator is not just to convey knowledge, but to foster a curious mindset, as well as the ability to apply knowledge to novel situations.
