Throughout all my work experiences, one of my favorite positions I've held was that of an instructor! In the past, I have had the opportunity to lead the instruction of basketball camps for many age groups (1st grade through high school) as well as serve as a JV high school basketball coach. The most rewarding part of being an instructor is to see the improvement of your students. With my extensive academic background and determination to help those that are struggling, I was excited about the opportunity to become an academic tutor!

In 2022, I received my B.S. degree in Environmental Science from Eastern Michigan University and more recently in August 2024, I received my M.S. degree in Environmental & Forest Biology from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry. Much of my work experiences have been focused on environmental research, performing data science using the Python and R programming languages to build and evaluate statistical models for various projects. These experiences along with my education have given me ample experiences in many mathematics, science, and data science subjects, which is what I am most excited to assist students with!

I hope to guide students to find their own way of understanding and processing the information they receive in the classroom. Through thoughtful discussion of the content and guiding students through real-world applications, I hope to help students improve their performance in the classroom.
