I have always been captivated by cultures and people, and language plays a key role in that fascination. As a native French speaker, I was born in France and lived there until the age of eight, when my family moved to the United States. Fortunately, we maintained a "French-only" household, which allowed me to preserve my fluency and continue speaking French with my family, both in the U.S. and France. I regularly engage in French by speaking it, watching films, listening to music, and reading.

My passion for the language and my love for learning have inspired me to share that joy with others. With a background in Business and a career in Consumer Research, I later pursued a Master's in Teaching once my children were older, with the goal of transitioning into education.
I had the privilege of working in a French-immersion school, where I began as an assistant and then became the lead teacher for preschoolers. I've also served as an Instructional Aide, tutoring in elementary school classrooms, and as a dedicated parent who has supported my children's education from preschool through high school.
When it comes to teaching, I believe in building upon a student's existing knowledge while understanding how they learn best and what motivates them.

In addition to nurturing my love of French, I enjoy outdoor activities like hiking and kayaking and cherish spending time with my family including our dog.
