About Me

I am passionate about helping students because I believe that education has the power to transform lives. I have seen firsthand how the right support and guidance can make a significant difference in a student's academic journey and overall confidence. My experience working with students has been both fulfilling and enlightening. Through my involvement in various volunteer projects and organizations, I have had the privilege of working with students from diverse backgrounds and with varying educational needs. I have tutored students in subjects ranging from algebra and writing to biology and reading. Each tutoring experience has been unique and has allowed me to adapt my teaching approach to meet the specific needs of each student. I received my high school education at the Chambersburg Area Career Magnet School in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. Currently, I am a fourth-year student pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing at Pennsylvania State University in Mont Alto, Pennsylvania, with a minor in Biology. My teaching philosophy centers on creating a supportive and collaborative learning environment. I believe in tailoring my tutoring style to each student's unique learning style and pace. I strive to make learning engaging and relatable, using real-life examples to help students connect with the material. Additionally, I encourage active participation and critical thinking, as I believe these skills are essential not only for academic success but also for personal growth.
