I got my dental training that includes a BDS degree and Orthodontics Residency from Pakistan and research training that includes Masters in Microbiology and PhD in Molecular Biology from Austria. I moved to the USA four years back and worked as a researcher in the dental research lab. To be eligible to do practice here in the USA, along with doing research, I passed my NBDE boards I (2018) and II (2020). My continued success in research is reflected in published papers and awards. Furthermore, during my Ph.D. and Post-Doctoral training, I gained experience mentoring students in their research projects. Seeing my students' progress in their careers was deeply satisfying and strengthened my motivation to proceed in academic dentistry. I believe every student is unique and I try my best to modify the teaching style that is beneficial for my student.
