About Me

I am a native Japanese speaker with a background in linguistics and professional experience as a Japanese/English translator and interpreter, along with professional fluency in Korean. I have lived and worked in Japan as well and am able to teach about the culture of Japan and how it compares/differs from that of the United States. I have taught Japanese from elementary schoolers to adults and adjust my teaching method to have a personalized experience for each student. I have received a 5 on the AP Japanese Language and Culture Exam and have passed the JLPT N1.
