I have worked as a GRE and SAT instructor for 5+ years. My students have ranged in age from high school students to experienced professionals attempting to obtain graduate degrees. I am experienced teaching all of the sections on both the SAT and the GRE, and I'm happy to adapt to the student's needs in terms of what content to cover and the length and rigor of the course. I also make sure Im available to students outside of class via e-mail in case they have any questions.

I graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2005 with my BA in History and English. Afterwards, I taught English in Nagoya, Japan, for a year, then came to DC in 2007 for a jazz internship at the Smithsonian. I then attended GWU to obtain my MA in History, and at the same time I worked in the Exhibits department at the National Archives. I currently work in Native American policy, and I enjoy tutoring in my spare time. My hobbies include cooking foods from different cultures, and, like many people in DC, traveling internationally. Ive been to over 30 countries so far, and I recently visited Vietnam and Cambodia. I also enjoy visiting friends and family, and I try to make it home to Wisconsin during the holiday season.
