My goal as a Bar exam tutor is to work with each student's learning style to create an effective learning environment that allows each student to perform to the best of their ability. I want to help you to succeed. To do this I provide strategies and tools that help you to learn the material effectively and use your exam time to the fullest potential.I have taken and passed the bar exam in Missouri, Washington state, and Nevada. In addition, I graduated cum laude from University of Missouri School of Law, clerked for Hon. Jean C. Hamilton, US District Court, ED Missouri, then practiced in Seattle, Washington focused primarily in employment law.

I am currently a sophomore pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science at the University of Washington, Seattle. I have volunteered to teach elementary to middle school children through two different non-profit organizations. One of the non-profit organizations puts a focus on teaching elementary students subjects within the STEM field to help them advance in those subjects. I also helped to develop a curriculum to start teaching programming at this organization using scratch for beginner levels and python for advanced levels. I am able to tutor a wide range of subjects that include elementary school, elementary school math, algebra, and various programming languages such as Python, Java, Scratch and even AP Computer Science. I find that having the right resources and guidance is extremely important in motivating students to keep learning and persevering through the challenging material that they encounter. It not only helps them better understand the class, but also makes it so that the material they are learning is still fun and interesting. By tutoring, I get the opportunity to work with wonderful students and help them advance in their education.

I am a recent transplant to the Seattle area. Before moving here, I lived in Memphis, Tennessee. In Memphis, I taught high school Mathematics. Since moving here, I have missed the opportunity to work with students. I have a master’s degree in education and a bachelor's degree in molecular biology and biotechnologies.I look forward to being able to work with students. My passion in teaching is making mathematics accessible to everyone. I particularly enjoying working on Algebra II, Pre-calculus and Trigonometry. I also love getting to work on ACT prep.Beyond teaching I am a very active person, I try to get outside as often as I can. Traveling is perhaps my biggest passion. I am excited to start exploring the Pacific Northwest!

I attended Beloit College (Go Bucs!) in Beloit, Wisconsin where I received my BA in History and submitted an Honors Thesis. The year after graduation I spent teaching English to university students in Kaifeng, China. I then went back to school and got my Masters in Communication from Hawaii Pacific University. While pursuing my Masters I was a Math and Reading tutor, and I worked for my university's magazine, writing and editing articles for quarterly publications.I tutor SAT, History, Math, Reading, Writing, English Literature. History is definitely the subject I enjoy tutoring the most, as it was my major and a continued passion of mine. I'm even in the process of writing a historical novel!I grew up in Hawaii, and I love being outdoors with my wife and two dogs. We all live in Spokane, WA now, where the scenery is beautiful and there's an always adventure awaiting around every tree and mountain. In my free time I enjoy reading, writing, playing soccer and tennis, and just relaxing with my family.

I have been working as a professional software engineer for over 10 years and I have taught computer science classes at a local community college for over 5 years. I am currently finishing up my time at Stevens Institute of Technology, to obtain a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering. My love for teaching is something I found when I would tutor my younger brother in Calculus. Ever since I have been taking teaching opportunities where I can find them. At Stevens, the night prior to calculus exams, I would give a review of the materials to over 200 students at a time. Afterword I would stay and help any student that needed assistance one on one. I tutor many things but my biggest interests are Calculus(AB), Python programming, and other high school level maths. I believe the best way to teach math is to reduce the intimidation factor that math can have and this is exactly what seems to work for my students. In my spare time I like to hike, camp, ride my dirt bike and play basketball.

I am a Junior at the University of Washington pursuing degrees in Environmental Health and Chemistry on the pre-medical track. I am particularly interested in High School and College science and math courses. At UW, I have taken the General Chemistry series, the General Biology series, Honors Organic Chemistry, Calculus I & II, and various Public and Environmental Health courses. In addition to these courses, I am also trained as an EMT-B and volunteer at Roots homeless shelter. I have experience as a Boys and Girls Club tutor as well as a high school tutor in Anatomy and Physiology, Biology, Chemistry, and Math.
